Waaree Energies Limited, solar PV module manufacturer with a 12 GW installed capacity, bagged a contract from Juna Renewable Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACCIONA Energy.
The contract entails supplying bifacial solar modules for a 412.5 MWp/335 MW AC project located in Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The project is slated for completion by March 2025.
As reported by NBM&CW, the large-scale solar plant will employ Waaree’s p-type bifacial modules, each rated at 540-545 Wp. The modules will be installed on horizontal single-axis trackers, enhancing energy production through better light absorption and tracking capabilities.
