Waaree Technologies and 3DBattery Collaborate for Energy Storage Solutions

Waaree Technologies Ltd. (WTL), the energy storage division of the Waaree Group in renewable energy and technology, has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Israeli firm, 3DBattery. The collaboration aims to develop and manufacture advanced energy storage solutions using 3DBattery’s cutting-edge lithium-ion and upcoming sodium-ion technology.

3DBattery is known for providing advanced lithium-ion battery cells featuring state-of-the-art chemistry, resulting in enhanced energy storage performance. The product range includes various cell chemistries tailored for diverse applications, such as electric vehicles and microgrids. Waaree Technologies Ltd. envisions becoming India’s premier ‘Cell to System’ technology company, offering dependable, cost-effective, and high-quality energy storage solutions.

The collaboration leverages Waaree’s manufacturing capabilities and 3DBattery’s robust research and development expertise, ushering in a transformative era for the renewable energy storage sector. Through the partnership, Waaree Technologies Ltd. aims to domestically produce high-performance, rechargeable energy storage solutions, thereby significantly bolstering its position in the Indian and global renewable energy domain.
