Zeta Energy Corp., a player in lithium-sulfur (Li–S) battery technology, and Log9 Materials, an innovator in advanced battery cell technology and EV Mobility Ecosystem solutions, announced a collaborative venture. Log9 had established India’s first commercial lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility, driving advancements in fast-charging and durable battery packs for commercial vehicles.
Given India’s reliance on imported lithium-ion cells for electric vehicle batteries, there is a pressing need to develop domestic cell and battery manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demands of the electric mobility sector.
