HIL in Talks to Acquire Crestia Polytech

HIL Ltd, a part of the CK Birla Group, has announced acquisition of Crestia Polytech, a Patna-based company known for its Topline brand of pipes and fittings, alongside its four subsidiary companies.

The strategic move, valued at ₹265 crore, is poised to bolster HIL’s foothold in the burgeoning pipes and fittings sector, marking its entry into this market segment. Crestia Polytech and its subsidiaries, Topline Industries, Aditya Polytechnic, Aditya Industries, and Sainath Polymers, are known names in Eastern India, particularly known for their brands Topline, Rockwell, and Soniplast in the pipes, fittings, and water tank segments. As reported by Devdiscourse, with existing manufacturing plants in North, West, and South India, the acquisition is expected to further enhance HIL’s geographical reach and market penetration.

HIL President, Strategy, Avanti Birla said, “The agreement to acquire Topline perfectly aligns with our ambition, and is part of our growth strategy for the pipes and fittings business at HIL. The combined synergies of the two organisations will broaden the product portfolio, manufacturing capacity and market reach for us”.
