The development provides notable financial advantages by boosting operational efficiency and lowering refining costs.
Abhai Raj Bhandari, Executive Director of Mumbai Refinery said, “The commercialisation of BHARAT BCA showcases BPCL’s dedication to innovation and sustainable practices. This breakthrough will not only benefit our refinery but also positively influence the entire industry, as we focus on cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions”.
Shri N. Chandrasekhar, Head of R&D, applauded the CRDC team’s efforts, stating, “The BHARAT BCA catalyst reflects our in-house expertise and the collaborative efforts of various departments. We are proud to have developed a solution that not only supports BPCL’s sustainability objectives but also positions us as leaders in refining technology.”
