SEPC Ltd, formerly known as Shriram EPC, bagged a major renewable energy contract valued at ₹650 crore from Parmeshi Urja, Kolkata. The project involves the development of a 133 MW AC solar power plant spread across 26 locations in four districts of Maharashtra.
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Scope
SEPC will deliver the project on a turnkey EPC basis, handling engineering, procurement, and construction across all designated sites. This win marks one of the company’s most ambitious solar ventures to date.
SEPC received the official Letter of Award (LoA) on the evening of June 10, 2025. The company is now preparing to initiate detailed kick-off meetings at each project location. These meetings will help finalize execution timelines and deployment strategies.
Boosting Renewable Infrastructure in India
The large-scale solar initiative strengthens SEPC’s growing portfolio in renewable energy infrastructure and aligns closely with India’s national clean energy goals. The project will deliver decentralized solar capacity across multiple sites. This will contribute meaningfully to the country’s push for sustainable power generation.
Strategic Milestone for SEPC
The ₹650 crore contract reaffirms SEPC’s strategic shift toward green energy solutions and demonstrates its ability to handle complex, multi-site projects. As reported by projectstoday.com, with this order, the company enhances its position in the rapidly growing solar EPC space.
