BASF and the Institute of Zhejiang University-Quzhou have officially launched a strategic innovation partnership aimed at accelerating the development of sustainable materials and industrial processes.

This collaboration combines BASF’s global industrial innovation capabilities with the Institute’s strong research foundation and academic excellence. Together, both organizations will focus on joint research and innovation. Their work will span advanced materials, industrial ecosystems, molecular manufacturing, and bio-based chemicals.

In addition to joint R&D, the partners plan to cooperate on pilot scale-up projects, analytical testing, and the cultivation of scientific and technical talent.
