REnergy Dynamics (RED), a leading player in India’s bioenergy sector, entered into a strategic alliance with GMM Pfaudler, a global leader in industrial technologies, systems, and services. The partnership positions RED as one of the first companies in India to manufacture paddle agitators locally. This initiative aligns with the Government’s ‘Make in India’ program.
Commercial Production Begins in Gujarat
RED-GMM has begun commercial production of paddle agitators at a state-of-the-art facility in Gujarat. The facility will supply critical equipment to India’s growing Compressed Biogas (CBG) sector. The agitators already operate at marquee projects, including Reliance Industries’ CBG plant. RED executed this plant, which now serves as a flagship reference. Nearly 1,000 CBG plants are expected to start operations over the next three years. The paddle agitator market in India’s CBG sector alone could reach ₹7,500 crore. This growth underscores the strategic significance of the RED-GMM alliance.
