World Green Energy (WGE) signed a land sublease agreement with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone (TSSEZL) for 50 acres at Gopalpur Industrial Park, marking a significant step in India’s solar manufacturing expansion.
Launch of Advanced TOPCon Solar Facility
The agreement paves the way for WGE’s two GW TOPCon solar cell and 1.2 GW TOPCon solar module manufacturing facility. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, the facility will produce high-efficiency solar products for both domestic and international markets, strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem and supporting the nation’s carbon-neutral vision by 2047.
