Supreme Petrochem Targets Expansion with ABS Plant

Supreme Petrochem is sharpening its focus on its new acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plant and an expanding range of value-added products. The company expects the ABS facility, currently in trial production, to be a major growth driver. It will particularly boost growth in the automotive sector over the next five to six months.

ABS Project to Boost Revenue Potential

Supreme Petrochem expects the first phase of the ABS project to generate around ₹800 crore in revenue, with the full project bringing in ₹1,700 crore annually.

Despite global supply chain disruptions in Q2, the company remains confident of surpassing last year’s FY26 volumes. This confidence reflects its strong operational momentum.

Preparing for Commercial Launch

Rakesh Nayyar, Executive Director, shared, “Trials are ongoing with various processors. Once the material is accepted by the market, we’ll start commercial sales to the auto sector within five to six months.” This phase marks a critical step toward full-scale commercialization of the ABS product line.

Expanding Global Reach

In parallel, Supreme Petrochem is strengthening its export footprint across Gulf and Asian markets. The company anticipates increased demand from these regions as industries gradually shift sourcing away from Europe and the US. As reported by projectstoday.com, Supreme Petrochem is positioning itself as a key player in advanced polymer manufacturing. The company is driving growth through innovation, diversification, and market expansion.
