Diamines and Chemicals Limited Secures PESO Nod for Expansion of Synthetic Organic Chemicals Unit

Diamines and Chemicals Limited has officially received approval from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) for the proposed expansion of its Synthetic Organic Chemicals manufacturing unit. The company disclosed that it received the letter from PESO on May 23, 2023, about the expansion plans at its existing manufacturing unit located at plot No. 13, PCC Area, P.O. Petrochemicals, Vadodara.

The approved expansion encompasses the Petroleum Chemical Storage of Class A and Class C, facilitating the setup of new facilities for Synthetic Organic Chemicals production. This move is expected to significantly contribute to the overall production capacity of Diamines and Chemicals Limited.

The granted permission by PESO is viewed as a pivotal step, allowing the company to store petroleum products for the manufacturing of new products within the specified category, including schedule no 5(f) for the Synthetic Organic Chemicals industry (dyes & dye intermediates; bulk). The approval is valid until December 31, 2032, providing a substantial timeframe for the company to implement and leverage the expansion plans.
