E3 Commences DLE Pilot Plant Operations

E3 Lithium, a developer and technology firm specialising in lithium, has commenced operations at its newly commissioned lithium extraction (DLE) field pilot plant located in Alberta. The data collected during the pilot operations will serve as valuable input for the design of a commercial processing facility as part of the prefeasibility and feasibility studies for its Clearwater project.

As reported by MINING WEEKLY, E3 Lithium’s primary objective is to produce high-purity lithium products suitable for use in batteries, thus contributing to the growing electric revolution. The company has substantial lithium resources in Alberta, with sixteen million tons of lithium carbonate-equivalent (LCE) in measured and indicated categories and an additional 0.9 million tons of LCE in inferred mineral resources.
