Epigral to Set up Plant to Manufacture CPVC Compound

Epigral Ltd, a chemical manufacturer, is planning to establish a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) compound manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of 35,000 tons. This facility will be set up at a cost of ₹25 crore at their Dahej plant located in Gujarat, India. The company anticipates that the CPVC compound facility will become operational by the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24. Epigral was formerly known as Meghmani Finechem Ltd.

As reported by Devdiscourse, Epigral is in the process of expanding its CPVC Resin production capacity at the Dahej plant from its current 30,000 tons per annum (TPA) to 75,000 TPA by the fourth quarter of FY24. A portion of this expanded capacity will be dedicated to CPVC compound manufacturing, and an additional investment of ₹25 crore will be made for this purpose. This strategic move will enable the company to cater to both CPVC Resin and CPVC compound customers in India.

Epigral is a significant player in the chemical industry, holding the position of India’s fourth-largest manufacturer of caustic soda, chlorine, and hydrogen. Additionally, the company also produces caustic potash, chloromethanes, and hydrogen peroxide.
