EIL and NTPC Collaborate in the Emerging Green Business Segment

In line with its vision of venturing into emerging green business sectors, Engineers India Limited (EIL) signed an agreement with NTPC Limited. The press release stated that EIL will engage with NTPC to carry out collaborative work in the domain of carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), green fuel, green chemicals including green hydrogen, green ammonia, green fertilizers, bio-fuels, decarbonisation, waste handling, water, ash, etc., paving the way for a clean energy transition.

The deal was signed by Atul Gupta, Director (Commercial), EIL and Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya, Director (Projects), NTPC Ltd. “The collaborative work by EIL and NTPC has potential to catalyse the efforts in the areas of clean fuels and green chemicals towards achieving India’s Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) within the defined timeline,” commented CMD EIL, Vartika Shukla.
