Larsen & Toubro’s AI infrastructure company, Vyoma.AI, through its subsidiary LTN Compute, has secured a major order to develop India’s largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility, featuring an NVIDIA B300 AI Factory, for a US-based AI cloud innovator. The AI Factory will support large-scale AI inference, fine-tuning and training workloads, strengthening India’s AI infrastructure ecosystem while enabling global AI innovation.

Chennai Campus to Host 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs

The AI Factory will be deployed at Vyoma.AI’s Chennai data centre campus, a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure site designed to support future expansion. Phase 1 of the campus is designed for 250 MW, with power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA. This capacity provides a scalable foundation for deploying and expanding advanced AI computing infrastructure. The integrated AI Factory will feature 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs. It will combine hyperscale data centre infrastructure with accelerated computing, high-performance networking, ultra-low-latency interconnects and high-throughput parallel storage. Together, these capabilities will provide an integrated, end-to-end AI infrastructure stack, allowing customers to deploy and scale demanding AI workloads more efficiently.

L&T Strengthens India’s AI Infrastructure

The project forms part of L&T’s broader Gigawatt AI Infrastructure Mission and reflects the company’s strategy to build large-scale AI-ready infrastructure in India. S N Subrahmanyan, Chairman & Managing Director, Larsen & Toubro, said AI is becoming foundational across industries and that AI Factories will play a critical role in supporting this transformation. He added that the deployment reinforces L&T’s commitment to positioning India as a global hub for next-generation AI infrastructure.

Together AI Partnership Targets Global AI Demand

Vipul Ved Prakash, Co-founder & CEO of Together AI, said the company partnered with L&T to bring the scale, resilience and engineering capabilities required to expand global access to AI infrastructure. The collaboration will therefore combine L&T’s infrastructure capabilities with Together AI’s AI cloud platform to support rapidly growing demand for large-scale AI computing.

LTN Compute Expands AI Infrastructure Portfolio

LTN Compute is developing AI-ready digital infrastructure across India through hyperscale AI data centres, sovereign cloud platforms, AI Factory services, GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) and managed AI platforms. These solutions are designed to support governments, enterprises, cloud providers and AI innovators as demand for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure continues to accelerate. As per the press release, the deployment of the NVIDIA B300 AI Factory marks a significant step in L&T’s expansion into large-scale AI infrastructure and strengthens Chennai’s role in India’s emerging AI data centre ecosystem.
