Meghmani Crop Nutrition (MCNL), a fully-owned subsidiary of Meghmani Organics Limited, launched its nano urea facility in Sanand, Ahmedabad. Nano urea is designed to enhance both the nutritional quality and productivity of crops while maintaining environmental safety standards. Moreover, its adoption is expected to alleviate the government’s subsidy burden on traditional urea fertilizers.
As reported by Projects Today, MCNL had previously disclosed a capital expenditure of ₹150 crore for the establishment of the plant in Gujarat, boasting an annual capacity of five crore bottles. The venture into liquid fertilizers is poised to bolster the growth trajectory of the company’s agrochemical division.
