Nikko Chemicals Co., Ltd. has inaugurated an affiliate, Nikko Chemicals (India) Pte. Ltd. in India. Prior to this expansion, the Nikkol Group had established two affiliates in Asia to facilitate distribution in the region – Nikko Chemicals Shanghai Corporation in Shanghai, China, established in January 2007, and Nikko Chemicals (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., established in May 2007.
Recognising the strategic importance of further solidifying their presence in Asia, the group has chosen India as the location for their new office. While the company has been successfully distributing raw materials through local networks to Indian customers, the newly established office aims to provide enhanced support to the local cosmetic industry. Through the introduction of cutting-edge technology and innovation, Nikko Chemicals seeks to foster mutual growth with the Indian personal care market.
As reported by COSMETICS BUSINESS, aligned with the brands new three-year medium-term management plan starting in 2023, the Nikko Group has outlined its ambition to become the premier partner in Asia as a key pillar for business reasons. They have identified five countries as focus areas, aiming to transcend the role of a mere raw material supplier by actively contributing to the advancement of the cosmetic industry.
