Toyo Ink India Pvt. Ltd., a member of Japan’s artience Group, inaugurated the artience Technology and Innovation Centre – India (aTIC-India) at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Notably, this marks the Group’s first research centre outside Japan, underscoring India’s growing importance in advanced research, manufacturing, and sustainable innovation. The company hosted an on-site inauguration ceremony on 4 February 2026 at the IISc campus to formally open the state-of-the-art facility.

With this launch, artience Group is reinforcing its long-term commitment to India as more than just a key market. Instead, the company views the country as a strategic manufacturing and innovation hub capable of driving global technology advancements. Designed as a best-in-class research and co-creation centre, aTIC-India will conduct deep,

The partnership, which began in 2021, evolved through continuous dialogue, shared goals, and mutual trust. Located within the IISc campus, the centre will serve as a platform for academia–industry collaboration, enabling researchers and industry experts to jointly solve real-world challenges through advanced materials science. Toyo Ink India acknowledged the vital contributions of IISc professors and researchers. Their scientific expertise played a foundational role in shaping the centre.
