Vikram Solar Bags Solar Module Supply Order from GIPCL

Vikram Solar secured an order for 250 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). The company has been issued a Letter of Intent (LoI), marking a significant step forward in bolstering India’s solar energy capabilities and aligning with the nation’s ambitious solar goals.

The solar modules to be provided as part of this contract are included in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), and are known for their high efficiency. The project is expected to accelerate the development of solar energy infrastructure in Gujarat.

As reported by ETEnergyworld.com, and as per the agreement, Vikram Solar is responsible for the production, testing, and delivery of high-efficiency, bifacial solar photovoltaic (PV) modules.

The modules will incorporate the latest technology and will have capacities ranging from a minimum of 540Wp to a maximum of 570Wp. The deployment of these modules will take place at the MW RE Park located in Village Khavda, situated in the extensive area of the Great Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
