Burkert Expands India Portfolio with Manufacturing Facility in Pune

Burkert Fluid Control Systems India Private Limited, provider of measurement and control systems for liquids and gases, opened its new manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra.

The modern facility represents a key addition to Burkert’s global value chain, aimed at meeting the growing regional demand by locally producing essential components and system solutions. Located in Talegaon MIDC, phase 2, the facility spans 50,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge machining centers, assembly lines, and testing units to ensure maximum productivity.

The plant boasts an annual production capacity of over 30,000 valves and 500 systems, further strengthening Burkert’s proximity to its customers, supporting local employment, and enhancing service quality.

Initially, the Talegaon unit will focus on manufacturing mass flow controllers, angle seat valves, diaphragm valves, and system solutions, with future plans to expand production to meet the diverse needs of Indian industries.

As reported by thehindubusinessline.com, Burkert has already completed technology transfers for several specialized systems, including ATEX-classified zone one panels. The company anticipates that this local production facility will significantly contribute to its long-term financial growth, with the plant expected to achieve profitability by 2028.
