DEE Development Engineers, a provider of process piping solutions, has successfully commissioned the second phase of its manufacturing plant in Anjar, Gujarat.
The expansion is part of the company’s strategic plan to increase operational efficiency and significantly boost revenue.
Increased Operational Capacity
The newly operational facility boosts DEE Development Engineers’ total capacity to 12,000 tons per annum (tpa), with an additional 9,000 tpa coming online.
The increase is a crucial step toward the company’s ambitious goal of tripling its revenue over the next three to five years.
The investment in the expansion totals ₹250 crore, of which ₹160 crore is allocated to the process piping plant.
Once completed, the plant’s total annual capacity will reach 27,000 MT, with 12,000 MT already operational.
They expect the remaining 15,000 MT to be ready by October 2025.
Investment in Seamless Pipe Manufacturing Facility
Additionally, DEE Development Engineers is set to invest ₹90 crore into a seamless pipe manufacturing facility.
The facility will specialize in high wall thickness pipes and plans to produce 7,000 MT annually. It expects to begin operations by January next year.
Funding and Financial Structure
To date, the company has utilized ₹150 crore of the total ₹260 crore investment.
The bank financed ₹40 crore of this, while debt will fully fund the remaining ₹110 crore.
The financial strategy ensures continued investment in infrastructure and technological advancements.
Long-Term Growth Strategy
Chairman Krishan Lalit Bansal emphasized that the new facilities are central to DEE Development Engineers’ long-term growth strategy.
