TP Solar Ltd., the solar manufacturing arm of Tata Power and a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has achieved a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy sector.

TP Solar has inaugurated a 4.3 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The facility is the largest single-location solar manufacturing unit in India.

Cutting-Edge Technology for High-Efficiency Solar Production

The Tirunelveli plant features advanced TOPCon and Mono Perc technologies. These innovations enable the production of high-efficiency solar cells and modules.

The initiative will help meet the country’s growing demand for clean energy. It will also support India’s renewable energy targets and enhance self-reliance in solar manufacturing.
