TP Solar Limited (TP Solar), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has bagged a contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) to supply 292.5 MWp DCR (domestic content requirement) solar modules. The project falls under the CPSU Scheme Tranche-III and reaffirms TP Solar’s commitment to accelerating India’s renewable energy transition.
Project Details and Competitive Bidding Process
The contract, valued at approximately ₹632 crore, requires TP Solar to deliver high-quality DCR modules to Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. SECI’s tender included a total scope of 400 MWp DCR modules. TP Solar secured 292.5 MWp through a competitive bidding process, followed by an e-Reverse Auction.
