Jakson Engineers Limited, a subsidiary of Jakson Group, has successfully delivered 100 MW of solar PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). The milestone supports GIPCL’s 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park near Khavda, Gujarat, strengthening India’s clean energy transition and enhancing long-term energy security.
First to Complete Contract Delivery
Jakson Engineers is the first company to fulfill its contract capacity, supplying approximately 1,90,000 units of its flagship PERC (Helia Plus) bifacial solar panels.
These high-efficiency modules were manufactured by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, reaffirming the company’s leadership in India’s renewable energy sector.

Expanding Solar Manufacturing Capabilities
Building on this success, the company announced plans to invest ₹2,000 crore. It will set up a new 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility. The company aims to expand its solar module production capacity from 1.2 GW to 2 GW. This move will further solidify its role in India’s sustainable energy future.
