JSW Energy Crosses 10 GW Landmark

JSW Energy Limited has achieved a major milestone by adding 3.6 GW of generation capacity in FY2025—the highest annual addition in the company’s history. With this expansion, the company’s total installed capacity now stands at 10.9 GW, exceeding its FY2025 target of 10 GW.

Record-Breaking Capacity Growth

JSW Energy’s 3.6 GW capacity expansion in FY2025 was driven by:
  • Organic growth: 1.3 GW of wind power added through new projects.
  • Inorganic expansion: 1.8 GW from the acquisition of KSK Mahanadi Power Ltd.

In the fourth quarter of FY2025 alone, the company successfully integrated 2.8 GW of operational capacity, showcasing its strong execution capabilities and commitment to India’s energy security.
