
From May 19–23, 2025, Prof. G D Yadav participated in the Nobel Symposium on Chemistry for Sustainability: Fundamental Advances, held in Stockholm, Sweden. This high-level gathering brought together thirty globally renowned experts, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Ben Feringa of the Netherlands, to deliberate on the future of sustainable chemistry.
The symposium culminated in the release of the Stockholm Declaration on the Chemistry of the Future on May 23 at the Nobel Prize Museum.
Prof. Yadav’s impact extends well beyond global forums. He has mentored 115 Ph.D. scholars, 153 Master’s students, and 48 postdoctoral researchers, establishing himself as a towering academic leader. With 137 patents granted, he is also a prolific inventor. Prof. Yadav played a key role in expanding ICT Mumbai by establishing two new campuses. One campus is in Bhubaneswar, fully funded by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The other campus is in Jalna, supported by the Government of Maharashtra.

Driving India’s Green Hydrogen Mission
Prof. G D Yadav is currently working closely with the Government of India on green hydrogen initiatives. He is contributing his expertise to shape the national strategy. He also chairs the Board of Governors at Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University, Nagpur.
