BASF to Establish Global Service Hub in Hyderabad

BASF is set to strengthen its global operations by establishing a new Global Service Hub in Hyderabad. The move follows a strategic agreement with the Telangana Government, reinforcing the city’s position as a leading business and technology destination. As part of the development, BASF representatives submitted a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, Telangana. The proposal outlines the creation of a new entity, BASF Global Business Services Private Limited, which will anchor the company’s shared services operations in India.

Focus on Finance and HR Excellence

The upcoming Global Service Hub will primarily deliver strategic Finance and Human Resources (HR) services. By centralising these critical functions, BASF aims to enhance operational efficiency, streamline global processes, and support its worldwide business units more effectively. Hyderabad continues to gain prominence as a strategic node within BASF’s global service network. The city’s robust infrastructure, skilled talent pool, and favourable business environment have made it an attractive destination for multinational corporations.

Driving Efficiency Through Global Integration

As reported by thehansindia.com, BASF’s Global Service Hub in Hyderabad marks a significant step toward enhancing its global service delivery model. At the same time, it reinforces India’s growing role as a strategic hub for multinational business operations.
