MAIRE secured new awards and additional work related to previously awarded contracts through its Integrated E&C Solutions (IE&CS) business unit. The combined contracts are worth approximately €110 million and cover projects across South America, Europe and Asia. The latest awards strengthen MAIRE’s engineering portfolio and expand its presence in the gas monetisation and LNG sectors.
Tecnimont Bags Gas Monetisation Engineering Contract
As part of the new awards, Tecnimont secured an early engineering contract for a large-scale gas monetisation project in South America. The scope includes engineering activities required to establish the project’s technical framework and prepare it for subsequent development stages. If the project reaches a Final Investment Decision (FID), it is expected to move into the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phase, further extending Tecnimont’s involvement across the project lifecycle. The planned facility will form an important part of the midstream gas infrastructure, processing natural gas before it undergoes liquefaction and is exported to international LNG markets.
Tecnimont Selected for LNG Plant FEED in Asia
A Tier-1 client in Asia selected Tecnimont to conduct a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for an LNG plant. The contract further strengthens Tecnimont’s position in the strategic LNG engineering and project development market, while expanding its footprint in Asia.
Awards Strengthen Gas and LNG Position
According to Alessandro Bernini, CEO, MAIRE, the latest awards support strategic projects and strengthen the company’s position in gas monetisation, particularly LNG, while further expanding its presence in South America. As per the press release, the new contracts highlight Tecnimont’s capabilities across early-stage engineering, FEED and EPC services, positioning the company to participate in major gas and LNG projects as they progress toward development and execution.
