Brenntag signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Sudarshan Chemical Industries to expand access to cosmetic-grade pigments and specialty colorants across key Asia Pacific markets. Brenntag will distribute Sudarshan’s cosmetic pigments and specialty colorants for beauty and personal care applications across Southeast Asia, covering Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Customers in Australia and New Zealand will gain access to tailored colour solutions for home care, industrial and institutional applications.
Expanding Beauty and Personal Care Colour Solutions
Sudarshan brings extensive expertise in pigment and colourant manufacturing and colour science to the partnership. Its cosmetics portfolio includes organic and inorganic pigments, effect pigments, pearlescent pigments and dispersions for makeup, skincare, hair care and other personal care applications. The portfolio includes brands such as Sumicos™ cosmetic pigments, PRESTIGE™ effect pigments, Sumicair specialty colour solutions, Cosmenyl® pigment dispersions and Sanolin™ dyes. Together, these solutions offer a broad range of shades and visual effects, from natural tones and vibrant colours to high-impact pearlescent finishes.
Distribution Across Key Asia Pacific Markets
As part of the agreement, Brenntag will distribute Sudarshan’s cosmetic pigments and colourants throughout Southeast Asia. In addition, Brenntag will supply dyes and pigments for home care applications in Australia and New Zealand. This expanded distribution network will give manufacturers greater access to specialised colour technologies while helping them address changing consumer preferences and formulation requirements.

Brenntag will support the partnership through its regional Application & Innovation Centers. Customers will therefore gain access not only to pigments and colourants but also to formulation expertise, application testing and market insights. These capabilities can help manufacturers accelerate product development and create differentiated beauty and home care formulations.
