Anupam Rasayan India Limited has reported strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a positive start to FY27. The company, one of India’s leading custom synthesis and specialty chemical players, reported significant year-on-year growth in revenue and EBITDA. Anupam Rasayan’s consolidated revenue reached Rs 6,675 million in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 4,907 million in Q1 FY26, representing a 36% year-on-year increase. The company also recorded strong operating profitability during the quarter. EBITDA, including other income, increased 35% YoY to Rs 1,749 million, compared with Rs 1,292 million in the corresponding quarter last year. This translated into an EBITDA margin of 26.2% in Q1 FY27. Meanwhile, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 512 million, compared with Rs 485 million in Q1 FY26.
Flow Chemistry Milestone Strengthens Fluorination Capabilities
Anand Desai, Managing Director, Anupam Rasayan India Limited, said the company began FY27 on a strong footing, with consolidated revenue growing 36% year-on-year. He highlighted the company’s continued progress towards building a globally integrated specialty chemicals and CDMO platform. During the quarter, Anupam Rasayan achieved a significant technological milestone by becoming the first company globally to commercialize Ethyl Trifluoroacetate (ETFA) using flow chemistry. The development strengthens the company’s capabilities in complex fluorination chemistry and demonstrates its focus on advanced manufacturing technologies.
BASQUEVOLT Deal Opens US$300 Million Opportunity
Further strengthening its growth pipeline, Anupam Rasayan signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with BASQUEVOLT, S.A. for the potential long-term supply of a specialty chemical product. The agreement represents a potential revenue opportunity of approximately US$300 million over ten years. Consequently, the proposed partnership could provide a significant long-term growth opportunity for the company while expanding its presence in advanced specialty chemicals.
Bliss GVS Pharma Acquisition Progresses
Meanwhile, Anupam Rasayan’s proposed acquisition of Bliss GVS Pharma is progressing as planned following the signing of a definitive agreement. The company expects the acquisition to strengthen its pharmaceutical platform by creating synergies across CDMO capabilities, product development, customer relationships and access to regulated markets.
