Attero, one of India’s largest critical minerals company and a global player in urban mining, announced that organisations worldwide can now access Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) generated through its United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)-registered Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Project 9739. The project is the world’s only registered and verified carbon credit initiative under the UNFCCC AMS-III.BA methodology, which focuses on the recovery and recycling of materials from electronic waste.
By making these CERs available globally, Attero is broadening access to one of the most distinctive climate solutions in the international carbon market. The project combines verified greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions with responsible e-waste recycling, critical mineral recovery, and circular economy practices.
Setting a New Benchmark in Sustainable Recycling
