BASF inaugurated an expansion of its Alkyl Polyglucosides (APGs) production capacity at its manufacturing site in Cincinnati, Ohio, strengthening its production network in the United States. First announced in 2023, the expansion reinforces Cincinnati’s strategic role in BASF’s regional manufacturing operations and strengthens its position as a leading APG supplier in the U.S. market. By increasing production capacity closer to North American customers, BASF aims to ensure a reliable regional supply while offering its extensive APG portfolio and formulation expertise. Additionally, the expansion will help the company respond more effectively to customer requirements and support the development of innovative and sustainable products.
Strengthening Regional Production and Customer Support
Gisela Pinheiro, Senior Vice President, Home Care and Industrial & Institutional Cleaning, BASF, said, “The Cincinnati expansion represents an important step in reinforcing BASF’s leadership in the U.S. APG market.
