Bhansali Engineering gets Environment Clearance for Project Expansion

Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited has received environmental clearance from the state level environment impact assessment authority, Rajasthan, under the EIA Notification 2006, a provision of the ministry of environment, forest and climate change, government of India.

The clearance pertains to the expansion of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resin up to 2,00,000 tons per annum (TPA) and saleable Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) Resin up to 25,000 TPA, totalling 2,25,000 TPA, for the company’s plant situated in Rajasthan.

The company had previously obtained environmental clearance for 50,000 TPA of high rubber graft (HRG) at the Satnoor plant. As reported by EQUITY BULLS, with the clearances and approvals in place, the company now has the necessary environmental authorisations to achieve an overall capacity of 2,25,000 TPA.
