Deepak Phenolics Limited Gets Three-Year ‘Responsible Care® Logo’ Accreditation

Deepak Phenolics Limited, a petrochemical intermediates manufacturer of phenol, acetone and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) has been recognised with the highly respected Responsible Care certification from December 2023 to December 2026.

Responsible Care®, a global voluntary initiative was launched in Canada in 1985 and today overseen by the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) it is practiced in more than 65 countries across the world. The initiative aims to drive continuous improvement in safe chemicals management and achieve excellence in environmental, health, safety, and security performance. Indian Chemical Council, the apex industry body representing chemical industry in India, is a nodal body pursuing “Responsible Care Programme” in India.

The press release stated that Deepak Phenolics Limited signed for this program in 2022 and was for the first time accredited in the same year for a period of one-year up to 2023.
