Spanish fragrance house Eurofragance has announced a major leadership transition in one of its key markets—the Middle East. Effective January 2026, Oumayma Tabet will take on the role of General Manager for the Middle East, signalling a new phase in the company’s regional growth strategy.
The strategic move follows the decision of Antoine de Riedmatten to step down from operational duties after more than a decade of leading the region. He will, however, remain closely involved as a member of the Middle East and India Regional Board, continuing to provide guidance and support.
Two-Pronged Leadership Structure for Enhanced Regionalization
To sharpen its focus and adapt to fast-evolving market conditions, Eurofragance is restructuring regional leadership into two distinct zones:
*India, led by Mayur Kapse
*Middle East, under Oumayma Tabet
“This step allows us to consolidate a new phase in our regionalization strategy with solid foundations and a renewed approach,” said de Riedmatten. “I am proud to remain connected to this extraordinary region and to support Oumayma, whose talent and vision are beyond question,” added Riedmatten.
De Riedmatten has played a transformative role since joining Eurofragance in 2014. Notably, he led the creation of the Creative Center and established the regional headquarters in Dubai, both of which have become pillars of Eurofragance’s presence in the Gulf.
Responding to Growth with Strategic Realignment
The leadership change comes at a time of strong momentum for Eurofragance. The Middle East recorded extraordinary growth in 2024, while India benefitted from rapid economic development. In response to this favourable yet competitive environment, the company has reorganized its regional board. The goal is to enhance agility, support sustainable growth, and align more closely with evolving client needs.
Oumayma Tabet: A Leader with Vision, Expertise, and Market Insight
The appointment of Oumayma Tabet reflects Eurofragance’s commitment to internal talent development, continuity, and customer-centric leadership. With over 21 years of experience in the fragrance industry, Tabet brings a rare combination of technical expertise, market acumen, and creative leadership.
Her career spans prestigious companies including Quest International and Mane, and for the past two years, she has led Eurofragance’s Creative Center in Dubai. Under her guidance, the center has become a regional innovation hub, known for fostering a high-performance, diverse, and client-focused culture.
A Vision Anchored in Innovation and Collaboration
Tabet shared, “I embrace this new challenge with great excitement and responsibility. I believe in the power of people and the strength of shared ideas. My commitment is to drive growth in the region and build strong, lasting partnerships with our clients. The key ingredients for this are innovation, sustainability, and our shared passion for fragrance.”
A Stronger Foundation for Global Expansion
With this strategic reorganization, Eurofragance strengthens its position in key markets. The company is now poised to advance with leadership equipped to deliver on its global growth ambitions. As per the press release, the company remains focused on combining creativity, operational excellence, and customer closeness. This approach is aimed at staying ahead in the competitive and fast-moving fragrance industry.
