Evonik inaugurated its world-scale alkoxides production facility on Jurong Island, Singapore, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global catalyst strategy. First announced in May 2023, this mid double-digit million-euro investment strengthens Evonik’s ability to meet rising demand for alkoxides across Asia while reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, safety, and customer-centric operations.
Designed for Sustainability and Safety
The facility is built to meet the highest safety and environmental standards, operating with net-zero Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions. The achievement aligns with Evonik’s broader sustainability goals, supporting its transition to low-carbon operations. Strategically located in Southeast Asia, the plant ensures faster response times for regional customers. It also provides a reliable supply chain for key sectors such as biodiesel, pharmaceuticals, and chemical recycling.

Grand Opening with Government Support
