Huntsman Corporation officially marked the grand opening of its expanded Performance Products manufacturing facility in Pétfürdő, Hungary. Notably, the upgraded unit began operations earlier this year, signaling a key milestone in the company’s global growth strategy.
With this expansion, Huntsman has significantly increased its global production capacity. As a result, the company can now offer greater flexibility, improved supply reliability, and advanced technologies to industries such as polyurethanes, coatings, metalworking, and electronics.

As one of the world’s leading producers of amine catalysts, Huntsman brings more than 50 years of expertise in urethane chemistry. In recent years, demand for its flagship JEFFCAT® amine catalysts has continued to rise across global markets. These specialty amines play a crucial role in everyday applications, including: Automotive seating, mattresses and furniture and energy-efficient building insulation. Moreover, Huntsman’s latest product portfolio actively supports sustainability goals by enabling energy savings, lower emissions, and reduced odor levels in consumer and industrial products.
