India and US Ink MoU to Boost Critical Minerals Supply Chain

India and the US signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at broadening and diversifying critical mineral supply chains. The agreement will harness the strengths of both nations and promote collaborative efforts in the exploration, extraction, processing, and recycling of critical minerals.

The MoU was signed by commerce and industry minister, Piyush Goyal, and US secretary of commerce, Gina Raimondo, during the sixth India-US commercial dialogue in Washington, D.C.

The primary aim of the dialogue is to enhance the business and investment environment between the two countries, with a particular focus on emerging and advanced technologies.

As reported by cnbctv18.com, key areas of discussion included strengthening supply chain resilience, promoting climate and clean technology cooperation, fostering inclusive digital growth, and enhancing standards and conformance collaboration.
