Black Rose Industries Ltd. and Tokyo-headquartered Koei Chemical Co., Ltd. have jointly announced the initiation of a feasibility study for a collaborative amine manufacturing project in India. The study marks a significant step toward expanding both companies’ presence in the high-growth specialty chemical segment.
Collaborative Framework with a Focus on Specialty Amines
Under the proposed arrangement, Black Rose will establish new manufacturing facilities for amine products in India. The company will utilize Koei Chemical’s proprietary technology and process expertise. The companies plan to move forward with definitive agreements and construction upon confirmation of the project’s overall viability.

Both companies view this feasibility study as the foundation for a long-term collaboration. It aimed at addressing India’s growing demand for high-performance specialty chemicals. According to the company press release, once the study is complete and they confirm feasibility. The company will begin construction of the manufacturing plant.
