India’s Fuel Demand Dips in November

India’s fuel consumption in November experienced a decline following a four-month peak in the previous month. According to data from the Indian oil ministry’s Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), total consumption in November, serving as a proxy for oil demand, decreased by 2.8%, dropping from 19.26 million tons in October to 18.72 million tons.

This represented a two percent decrease compared to the same period the previous year. As reported by Business Standard, sales of cooking gas (liquefied petroleum gas) saw a 0.4% decline to 2.49 million tons, while naphtha sales fell by 7.9% to approximately 1.03 million tons, as per the provided data.
