IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd (IOLCP), manufacturer of pharmaceutical APIs and specialty chemicals, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2025. The company reported a 14.4% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching ₹33.96 crore—reflecting continued growth and operational strength.
Strengthening Global Footprint with UK Subsidiary
As part of its strategic expansion, IOLCP has established a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom. The move is aimed at enhancing the company’s presence in the UK and European Union markets, enabling closer access to customers and improving responsiveness to market demands.
New Manufacturing Unit for Minoxidil Production
Further boosting its manufacturing capabilities, the company announced the development of Unit 9B, a dedicated facility for producing Minoxidil and its intermediates. It will carve the new unit out from the existing Unit Nine, with an installed capacity of 120 MTPA. The company will invest ₹5.5 crore, entirely funded through internal accruals, and complete the project by December 2025.
Diverse and Backward-Integrated Product Portfolio
IOLCP continues to strengthen its diversified product portfolio, which includes key APIs such as:

The company also manufactures high-demand specialty chemicals, including:

Notably, IOLCP is the world’s largest producer of Ibuprofen, with an installed capacity of 12,000 TPA, supported by a fully backward-integrated manufacturing setup.
