Arkema announced the appointment of Laurent Peyronneau as Executive Vice President of its Adhesive Solutions segment (Bostik) and a member of the Group’s Executive Committee. He succeeds Vincent Legros, who is leaving the company after nine years of steering the Adhesive Solutions segment through a period of significant growth and transformation.
A Strong Track Record in Adhesives and Chemical Specialties
Laurent Peyronneau, a materials science engineer and graduate of École Centrale de Lyon, brings extensive experience in the adhesives industry and leadership roles within Arkema. He has spent years shaping the Group’s strategy in chemical specialties, particularly within the Coating Solutions segment.
His career began with TotalEnergies’ chemical activities in coatings. In 2006, he took charge of Cray Valley in South Korea. By 2010, he joined Bostik, where he held key executive roles in Asia before progressing to global responsibilities, including Executive Secretary General. In 2017, Peyronneau moved to Arkema, serving as Managing Director of Coatex and later as Director of Coating Additives from 2020.
Succeeding Vincent Legros After a Decade of Growth
Vincent Legros leaves the Group after successfully leading the Adhesive Solutions segment for nine years. Under his leadership, Bostik doubled its size, expanded internationally, and improved operating margins. His contributions were instrumental in positioning Bostik as a major global player in adhesives.
