Laurus Labs to Build Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Hub in Andhra Pradesh

Laurus Labs bagged an allotment of 531.77 acres of land in IP Rambilli Phase-II, Anakapalli district, from the Andhra Pradesh government. This marks a key milestone in the company’s growth strategy.

Plans to Develop Laurus Pharma Zone

The company will use the land to build a Laurus Pharma Zone (LPZ), a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing hub. Laurus Labs will invest ₹5,630 crore over the next eight years and implement it in three phases to construct multiple state-of-the-art manufacturing units.

Boosting Employment and Manufacturing Capacity

Projectstoday.com reported that the strategic expansion will significantly strengthen Laurus Labs’ long-term manufacturing capabilities. The company stated, “This land allotment gives Laurus Labs a key asset to support its long-term expansion plans in pharmaceutical manufacturing.”
