SRF to Invest in Agrochemical Plant and BOPP Film Unit

SRF Ltd announced a ₹750 crore investment to strengthen its manufacturing footprint, setting up a new agrochemical plant in Gujarat and a BOPP film facility in Indore. The company’s board approved the projects.

Agrochemical Unit in Dahej

SRF will invest ₹250 crore to establish an agrochemical intermediate manufacturing unit at Dahej, Gujarat. Designed with an annual capacity of 12,000 tons, the facility is expected to be operational within eighteen months. The project will support SRF’s growing specialty chemicals segment and cater to rising demand.

Advanced BOPP Film Facility in Indore

In addition, SRF will invest ₹490 crore to set up a Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) film production facility in Indore. The unit will feature a 10.4-metre-wide Bruckner film line and a metalliser, with completion targeted within twenty-four months.

Strengthening Market Position
