
MANN+HUMMEL inaugurated its new Global Technology and Innovation Center in Tumkur, Karnataka, significantly strengthening India’s role in the company’s global engineering and filtration technology strategy. The facility, described as the company’s largest development centre outside Germany, will accelerate innovation in mobility, industrial filtration, air purification and water treatment technologies.
The centre brings together advanced research laboratories, modern testing infrastructure, digital engineering capabilities and data analytics functions under one roof. With the launch of the Tumkur facility, MANN+HUMMEL is positioning India as a key global innovation and engineering hub. Pune Manufacturing Facility Planned
In addition to the Tumkur innovation hub, MANN+HUMMEL announced plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Pune. The proposed plant will support customers in the automotive, heavy-duty, industrial and manufacturing sectors through an integrated production setup for advanced filtration systems. The expansion is expected to strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint in India while improving supply chain efficiency and customer responsiveness.
