Mysore Petro Chemicals to Acquire UK’s Recycling Company QC Polymer

Mysore Petro Chemicals, is set to acquire UK-based recycling firm QC Polymer. The three-year-old company will be acquired for ₹30.72 crore. QC Polymer specialises in producing recycled PET flakes derived from discarded PET waste bottles, utilised in various applications such as food packaging, textile polyester, and straps.

The acquisition by Mysore Petro Chemicals is anticipated to open avenues for new business prospects. The strategic move is expected to enhance QC Polymer’s current business operations and generate additional revenue. As reported by moneycontrol, QC Polymer is involved in the trade of various petrochemical products, including orthoxylene, phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, benzoic acid, among others.
