Pace Digitek Ltd announced that its subsidiary, Lineage Power, has received a Letter of Award from Kalpa Power for the supply and commissioning of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The order, valued at ₹92.9 crore, is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026.
BESS to Be Supplied from Expanded Manufacturing Facility
Pace Digitek will supply the battery energy storage system through its manufacturing platform, which the company has recently expanded to 5 GWh of installed capacity. As a result, the new order strengthens Pace Digitek’s growing presence in the BESS and energy storage market while improving near-term visibility for its manufacturing operations.
Over 300 Utility-Scale BESS Containers Manufactured
Over the past year, Pace Digitek has manufactured more than 300 utility-scale BESS containers, representing approximately 1.5 GWh of battery energy storage capacity. Meanwhile, the company continues to scale up its manufacturing capabilities to meet increasing demand for utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage applications.
Manufacturing Capacity Set to Reach 10 GWh
Pace Digitek has increased its BESS manufacturing capacity from 2.5 GWh to 5 GWh and plans to further expand capacity in phases to 10 GWh by the end of FY 2027. The planned expansion will provide additional manufacturing capacity to support product supplies and enable the company to participate in integrated BESS projects.
