QUA Commences Membrane Manufacturing at Pune Facility

QUA has commenced production at its cutting-edge membrane manufacturing center located in Pune, India. The significant expansion, which increases production capacity fourfold, aligns with QUA’s strategy of diversifying its product portfolio and expanding into international markets.

The newly established manufacturing center is poised to meet rising demand and facilitate the production of QUA’s expanding range of products, including the FEDI GIGA fractional electrodeionization system, EnviQ RF submerged ultrafiltration membranes, and Q-SEP Q-Connect hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes.

A notable feature of the new facility is its state-of-the-art zero-discharge solution, which enhances sustainability by effectively recycling wastewater generated during manufacturing operations.

Sugata Das, Director of Manufacturing and Operations at QUA remarked, “The facility underscores QUA’s unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability. With this expansion, we are setting new standards in membrane manufacturing while reaffirming our dedication to delivering excellence to our valued customers”. As reported by Filtration+Separation, QUA, a subsidiary of Aquatech, is headquartered in the United States.
