The appointment marks another significant milestone in Mukundan’s long-standing association with CII and the Indian corporate sector.
Three Decades of Leadership Across Tata Group Businesses
Over the last three decades, Mukundan has built extensive leadership experience across several Tata Group companies, spanning the chemicals, automotive, and hospitality sectors. His strategic leadership and operational expertise have played a key role in strengthening business growth across industries.
Longstanding Association with CII
Before taking over as President, Mukundan served as CII President-Designate during 2025-26.
