Advanta Seeds (“Advanta”), a global seed company under the UPL Group, appointed Rajan Gajaria as its new Vice Chairman. Rajan has been a board member of UPL SAS and Advanta for the past two years and brings over thirty years of expertise in the agriculture industry.
Previously, Rajan held senior leadership roles at Corteva Agriscience. More recently, he collaborated with CEOs, venture capitalists, and private equity investors while serving on multiple boards. His experience provides him with a broad perspective on global business dynamics and scaling high-growth companies.
Driving Shareholder Value and Expansion
As per the press release, in his new role, Rajan will focus on strategic leadership and disciplined investment strategies. He will also drive inorganic growth through targeted mergers and acquisitions. He will also guide initiatives aimed at strengthening Advanta’s global impact and sustainable growth. Rajan will continue to serve on the Advanta Board of Directors.
